Do your products contain fragrance?
Yes, Layers topical products all contain the same allergen-free fragrance that meets the highest global standards for safety. This complex and subtle fragrance is supported by neuroscience to evoke soothing, nourishing, and protecting.
Is your packaging recyclable?
All Layers products are made of recyclable glass or compostable kraft paper in the case of our supplement refill pouches. Our cartons and carton liners are recyclable and are sourced from partners who operate 99% fossil fuel free. The shipping box and packing materials that your products arrive in are also 100% recyclable. We’ve limited our use of plastic to product closures (caps, pumps), and we continually look for ways to reduce our environmental impact. We love to see our customers reuse their glass packaging as vases or hair tie holders.
Which of your products are vegan?
All of our products are vegan, except Layers Balancing Milky Cleanser, which contains yogurt powder for its prebiotic properties. Our supply chain is very transparent, and our yogurt powder is sourced from humanely raised cows in Ireland.
Do you test on animals?
Never. We use clinical testing with a dermatologist to ensure our products are safe and effective. All Layers products are cruelty-free.
Can I take Layers supplements in addition to my current medications/vitamins?
We recommend checking with your doctor before starting any new supplements routine in combination with medications.
Are your products clean and safe?
We carefully select our ingredients, with over 1300 ingredients on our “made without” list, including Parabens, Sulfates SLS and SLES, Phthalates, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, mineral oil, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, talc, triclosan, triclocarban. We meet strict EU standards, and closely monitor evolving science to ensure that our products only have ingredients that are good for skin.
Once formulated, we complete rigorous stability, micro, and patch testing on all of our products to ensure you receive a quality product that won’t irritate your skin.
SHIPPING & ORDERS
What shipping options do you offer and what do they cost?
Shipping is FREE on all orders over $49. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for us to receive and process your order before it is shipped.
When will my order ship?
We process orders within 2 to 3 business days. If your order is received after 3pm EST, it will not be processed until the next business day. Orders received after 3pm on Fridays and over the weekend will not be processed until Monday. Should there be a delay for any reason, we will contact you.
Where is my package?
Once an order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information in order to easily track your package. If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within a few days of placing your order, please check your “spam” folder. If you believe your package is missing, we will start a trace and take the required follow-up steps. This process takes approximately 2-3 business days. We cannot replace packages until they have been confirmed missing.
What is your return policy?
We know how important your skin is, that’s why we exist. If the Layers product you purchased doesn’t perform the way you expect, we want to know. Visit our Shipping & Returns page for details on how to process your return.
How does your supplements subscription work?
Our supplement subscription is structured so that you receive a 90-day supply every 90 days (in the form of three refill packs). When you sign up, your orders will auto-renew on a 90-day basis ($119 for 90-day supply, a 19% discount). Please note that any changes to your subscription must be actioned at least seven days prior to your next recurring order date in order for us to process.
